Now that you have graduated from Medical School and have begun your residency, it is probably time to take another look at your disability insurance. As a resident you are able to get up to $3500 in disability coverage using the Future Income Option from your CFMS plan, or by applying for a new disability policy. If you have waited until now to consider disability insurance, you will should contact Living Benefits Atlantic to determine if you are still eligible to apply under the CFMS.
